[Who can resist a challenge? They make up life, though aren’t the only component. How one reacts to them though is telling, and those who choose an offbeat path seem to mind the occasional thorny path less. It’s a delicate balance to bravely wade through and not let too many cuts build up. He hopes for her sake she finds better balance than he did sometimes.]

Mm, that sounds familiar. I think the key is, or at least the key that I found to survive more recklessness than I rightly should have, was having people around who were also good at getting out of a pinch in their own ways. It’s good to have people who will disagree with you when you need it, but have your back always.

A life’s debt shared among friends and family is a strong tie to bind, not that I would wish it on many.

haha well, to begin with i don’t think a lot of people experience that unless they’re on the road or serve their country or something. most people have like.. a stable job or whatever. maybe i should go be a farmer? could you imagine?

I don’t think Pike’s ministrations can ever hurt, though one must also bear that ‘I’m not mad, I’m disappointed’ looks that she pulls off so well.
